Can you confirm something for me, Mr. Brevoort? There was a certain major Comics news site bemoaning the fact that Marvel would never be brave enough to make Poe Dameron a homosexual, despite how much that meme has taken hold since the Force Awakens, and basically called you cowards. As much as I am all for that, there is no way in Mustafar that Marvel could do that without Disney/Lucasfilm approval, correct? So even if Soule wants him to be gay, a choice like that would be run far up the chain?

It’s not for Marvel to determine the orientation of any Star Wars character–that’s the providence of the Star Wars folks. And the reverse is true as well–only Marvel determines the particulars of the Marvel characters.

You are cowards, anyway. Sorry.

Cool, you don’t decide for Star Wars. Have a cookie.

But you, in the collective sense of the Marvel PTB, do decide for the rest of Marvel, and as of May, you aren’t going to have a single queer led book in your entire roster. That’s 100% your choices.

You promised we should ‘wait and see’ about whether we’d get any in ANAD, and that has been pretty definitely answered as a ‘Ha ha. No.’

Why do you hate your queer fans this much?

Why would you even answer the question like that, when you knew the answer going into it? Why don’t you get how much false hope hurts us?

Why don’t you care about queer fans, why don’t you care about queer representation. Why, for all of your big talk when it comes to diversity, you obviously have no intention of including queer heroes in that?

I don’t know why I even support Marvel, some days.

Do better.
